The first entry is derived from the "logical Device ID Record", Section 6.3.4 on Page 21. Additional entries, if present, come from the "Compatible Device ID Record, Section 6.3.5 on Page 22.
The first entry should be an explicit, unique name that identifies the device precisely enough to be able to infer a detailed programming model. The format of the name is 'manufacturer,model' as specified in Reference 1, page 162.
